Home Visits: Building Relationships with Children in the Comfort of Their Own Homes

At HFP, we value relationships above everything. We delay the start of our first day of classes to allow our teacher time for home visits. This is an informal opportunity to learn about each child in the context of where they are most comfortable–with their family!

We played inside and outside. We read books, drank tea, visited with class “pets” (Eagle and Owl stuffed animals) and met children’s live pets.

Susan is grateful for the individual time with each child and family, knowing it will foster more relaxed, engaging connections during class sessions.
